Equipping Students for Excellence

DePaul Cristo Rey ignites students’ dreams and fuels their potential through our innovative combination of education, professional work experience, and intensive support to help them complete high school, enroll in and successfully complete college. Our academic program begins with a challenging college-ready curriculum, effectively taught by professional, mission-driven teachers, and evaluated using a variety of assessment tools. Honors courses are available to students starting their freshman year, while AP courses begin in the sophomore year.

COLLEGE ADVISING

Our College Advising program is specifically designed to empower students to become owners and advocates of their secondary and post-secondary successes. Our students experience a college-prep curriculum that supports their understanding of the college process, from identifying personal values to researching options to achieving graduate success. Students are developed into college-ready leaders who believe deeply, achieve boldly, and become unstoppable in the pursuit of their goals.

CRISTO REY UNIVERSITY PARTNERS

The Cristo Rey Network partners with 75 colleges and universities across the country that offer specific support to graduates of Cristo Rey schools nationwide. This support ranges from admission consideration to scholarship aid to special oversight when students are enrolled in the college/university. Some schools offer mentor programs and some host summer programs specifically for Cristo Rey students so they can experience campus life as they consider the best-fit college or university.
