LAPTOPS & DIGITAL RESOURCES

DePaul Cristo Rey has a digital learning environment and is a 1:1 laptop school – all students receive a laptop computer to use inside and out of school for academic purposes. Students use technology to access and submit their classwork, assignments, grades and communicate with teachers. Parents can access the same online systems as their students.

Our online programs, PowerSchool, Schoology and Naviance, are password protected and all students and families are given access codes at the beginning of the school year.

PowerSchool gives students and families
access to grades, progress and attendance reports, class schedules, school alerts, and announcements.

Schoology can be compared to an electronic classroom with an easy-to-navigate design similar to Facebook. It’s an online program that gives students and parents access to information posted by their teachers for their specific classes.

Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness program that helps align student strengths and interests to the college application process and students’ education goals.
