First-Ever Capital Campaign Exceeds Goal, Raises $20.8 Million to Transform Campus

The success of DePaul Cristo Rey’s first capital campaign, Building. Futures. Together. For a Greater Cincinnati, is very evident on DPCR’s Clifton campus. The campaign surpassed its goal in spring 2019, funding construction of a new Student Center that’s now open, while work is underway on a new three-story academic building. Meanwhile the campaign’s second phase, Securing Our Graduates’ Success, continues.

The Building. Futures. Together. For a Greater Cincinnati Campaign raised $20.8 million in less than two years, $645,000 above the campaign’s goal. Individuals, foundations, businesses and New Market Tax Credits all contributed to the success.

The campaign was led by Cincinnati business and community leaders Cynthia and Manuel Chavez and Vicky and Rick Reynolds.
