DePaul Cristo Rey High School is pleased to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian of its senior class, the Class of 2018.
Northside resident Adiah C. (pictured left), a graduate of St. Boniface School, is the valedictorian. This award recognizes the graduating student with the highest weighted grade point average in the senior class. After accepting this honor, Adiah will speak to her classmates in a valedictory address during the school’s commencement exercises on Tuesday, May 29, at Mount St. Joseph University.
Adiah plans to attend the University of Chicago.
Pleasant Ridge resident Josmary F.. (pictured right), a graduate of the Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies, is the salutatorian for the Class of 2018. This award recognizes the graduating student with the second highest weighted grade point average in the senior class. With this honor, Josmary will lead the invocation to begin the school’s commencement exercises.
Josmary plans to attend Berea College in Berea, Ky., to major in Business Management.
