The senior class of DePaul Cristo Rey High School will graduate in a commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 29, at the Mount St. Joseph University Theatre.
There are 65 seniors in the Class of 2018, the largest in the four years DPCR has had a graduating class (the school opened in 2011). All have been accepted to college and collectively they have earned $10.8 million in merit-based scholarships. Dr. Karen Bankston, executive director of the Child Poverty Collaborative Cincinnati, will address the graduates and guests.
Commencement activities begin with Baccalaureate Mass on May 23 at DePaul Cristo Rey, followed by a breakfast for seniors and their parents. An All-School Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 25. Tickets are required for admission to the commencement ceremony at Mount St. Joseph on May 29.
