Digital Resources for Families
In DePaul Cristo Rey’s digital learning environment, students use technology to access and submit their class work, assignments, grades, and communicate with teachers outside of class. Parents can access the same online systems as their students. These programs, Naviance, PowerSchool and Schoology, are password protected and all students and families are given access codes at the beginning of the school year.
Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness program used at DPCR to help align student strengths and interests to the college application process and students’ education goals.
PowerSchool gives students and families access to grades, progress and attendance reports, class schedules, school alerts, and announcements.
Schoology can be compared to an electronic classroom with an easy-to-navigate design similar to Facebook. It’s an online program that gives students and parents access to information posted by their teachers for their specific classes. This includes homework assignments, reminders and helpful links to information on college programs and scholarships.
Here's a step-by-step explanation of how to sign in and access your student's PowerSchool and Schoology accounts.
Printed Grade Reports
DPCR mails printed grade reports to parents every three weeks at the end of each academic session. Parents are always welcome to contact staff and teachers by telephone, or make an appointment to talk about their student’s progress face-to-face. Please call the Main Office at 513-861-0600 with your questions.
For any questions about technology, please call or email Barb Letts, IT manager, at 861-0600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
